Internet bill too high? Here's how to save
Check out this article from USA Today. Many of our customers face the challenge that when they cut their cable TV service, their cable provider/ISP tries to bump of the price of their internet service which you still need to cut the cord.
Some of the things I recommend: Look at a 25 Mbps service vs 75 Mbps whih many of the cable operators try and upsell you to. Unless you have 3 or more people watching TV at the same time, 25 Mbps should be sufficient. Also if you have an option to switch to another provider, check out that provider’s options and make your current provider aware of any deals out there. You might have to switch to another provider to get the best deal.
Part of our cord cutter service is to help you look at all of your options and recommend the best provider to meet your needs and get the best price. The article also recommend buying your own cable modem (Comcast and Charter only) and dual-band router to to get the best performance and save an average of $11/month.
